We have a new and exciting loan program with Peoples Bank, in effect through summer 2009! Loans for homes are lower than in the last 30 years and we have teamed up with Peoples to go even lower for your lot loan! Effective immediately and through August 31, Peoples Bank will offer an interest-only, two year term lot loan at 3%!
No hidden fees, no plan to raise the rates after a few payments but 3% fixed for the two years. This plan is exclusive to the Hecht Development communities listed below and your closing costs are also paid as part of this loan program!
The program is simple. Just visit any of the communities below, and choose your favorite lot. Contact the Peoples Bank representatives through their contact information below and apply for your loan. Peoples Bank requires a down payment (normally 20%) then will process the loan and once you are approved will schedule your lot closing. The loan interest rate is 3% and your payments are based on that figure.
For example, take a $70,000 lot in Kerns Meadow. With a 20% down payment, you would have a loan amount of $56,000 and at 3% your monthly interest payments would be $140.00. Closing costs are paid by Hecht Development, and for two years after closing you would have the $140.00 per month payment, plus of course property taxes and Association dues for your lot. That gives you plenty of time to prepare to have your dream home built, without the stress of a large payment.
Again, the loan rate is fixed for the two year term. You are the lot owner and are free to plan for a new house, sell your lot to someone else and make a profit, or anything else within the community restrictive covenants.
