Bob Hecht began his real estate career in May 1971 and teamed up with John Hecht to form Hecht Realty in December 1971, and Hecht Development in 1979. Century 21 Hecht Realty grew to three residential offices, property management and commercial and was a major firm in the area. Bob sold the residential and commercial sales divisions to Coldwell Banker United in March 2009 to concentrate on land development and work with Hecht Property Management.
Bob’s development experience comes from small communities in the 1980’s and closely working with a major developer through the 90’s. Since 2002, Bob has worked to create several desirable neighborhoods in the Lake Norman area. Bob’s attention to detail and planning with the home owner in mind has resulted in each community being well-received and successful.
Nicole Hecht has worked the past four years with both Hecht Development and Century 21 Hecht Realty, working in an administrative capacity with both firms, and was exposed to every facet of the real estate and development business. Her role at Hecht Development includes architectural review, multiple listing and marketing. Nicole secured her real estate license in July 2009, and also works with Coldwell Banker United Realtors, teaming up with Bob to form The Hecht Team, and works with buyers and sellers to market residential real estate.
Carolyn Hopper moved to the Lake Norman area in 1984 and became part of the Cornelius Century 21 Hecht Realty office. She received her real estate license in 1988 and through the years, developed the relocation division and managed the advertising departments for the real estate firm. In 1997, Carolyn took over the accounting and corporate secretary responsibilities for the firm, and now after 25 years of service, she is working with Bob at Hecht Development. Carolyn’s greatest joy is watching, with her husband of 34 years, their two girls become parents and their four adorable grandsons!
Tammie Kralovic has been in the real estate industry since 1989. Before joining Century 21 Hecht in 1997, Tammie managed a local real estate office for 5 years and took the plunge into real estate sales and in a short time, became one of the top agents. While at Century 21 Hecht, accomplishments included being the top agent for the Mooresville office from 1998-2000, top overall agent for 2000 and Six years of being a "Centurion" - the highest award in the Century 21 system for agent production. Tammie currently does the marketing and advertising and is expanding into video production of the subdivisions and websites. In addition to Tammie's real estate career success, Tammie's most important role is being a mom. Tammie brings a sense of family to the team and helps us see the importance of family life in the communities we develop.
